We strive to enhance quality of life, support local businesses, celebrate our cultural identity, and ensure that Tipton remains a place where people live, work, and thrive—today and for generations to come.
Tipton Main Street Association
History
Founded in 2017, the Tipton Main Street Association is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to revitalizing and strengthening downtown Tipton as the heart of our community. Over the years, TMSA has championed economic development, historic preservation, and placemaking initiatives that foster a vibrant and thriving downtown.

2017 – TMSA is founded

2018 – TMSA completes “The Alley” project

2020 – TMSA and its community partners finalize the City’s Downtown Revitalization Plan

2023 – TMSA works with the City to repurpose an underutilized parking lot into a downtown pocket park

2025 – TMSA receives the Indiana Accredited Main Street designation from OCRA and Indiana Main Street
